What we offer

Four ways to take flight.

Three are the core of AAPG's mission — sharing free flight with people who face mobility challenges. The fourth is how we keep the whole thing flying: regular tandems and pilot training whose net proceeds fund the adaptive programs.

  • HPAC-certified adaptive tandem pilot
  • Custom trike-chair harness & safety gear
  • Transfer support at launch & landing
  • 4x4 shuttle to and from the launch

Support Person Tandems

For the family member, friend, or caretaker who drove out with you. We do our best to fly the adaptive pilot and their support person together — sharing the moment in the air, not watching from the ground.

Who it's for

Parents, partners, siblings, friends, or caregivers of adaptive pilots. Foot-launch tandem; standard HPAC-certified pilot.

What's included

  • HPAC-certified tandem pilot
  • Standard tandem harness & helmet
  • Coordinated launch timing with your loved one
  • Same 4x4 shuttle up the mountain
  • GoPro footage on request

Cost: regular tandem rates. Bookings are best coordinated at the same time as your adaptive flight.

Sightseeing Introductory Tandems

Educational tandem flights and paragliding certification courses for the general public. No mobility restrictions — just about anyone who wants to experience free flight above the Fraser Valley.

100% of net proceeds from every introductory tandem and training course go directly to supporting AAPG's adaptive-flight mandate. Every ride you take, or lesson you book, helps put a wheelchair pilot in the sky.
Why "introductory"? HPAC (our national governing body) requires every tandem flight to include an educational component — pure paid joyrides aren't permitted. Ours are packed with it. You'll get a hands-on introduction to the gear, a briefing on weather and the conditions that make a flight safe, the basic controls of the wing, a chance to fly the paraglider yourself under your pilot's supervision, and a walk-through of how the wing is packed up at the end of the day. Same great flight — with a bit of learning built in.

Tandem Flights

15–30 minutes airborne with an HPAC-certified pilot. Foot-launch style. No experience required.

Training Courses

HPAC P1 and P2 certification. Discovery lessons for first-timers. Multi-day formats.
